# LangChain tools

`@blacksheep/sdk/langchain` exports `blackSheepTools()` — a factory that returns three Tool objects ready for any LangChain agent.

## Import

```ts
import { blackSheepTools } from "@blacksheep/sdk/langchain";
```

## Construct

```ts
const tools = blackSheepTools({
  apiKey: process.env.BS_API_KEY!,
  agentId: "uuid-of-the-agent-wallet",
  baseUrl: "https://blacksheepfinance.money", // optional
});
```

## Tools returned

### `send_usdc`

```ts
{
  to: string;       // base58 recipient
  amount: number;   // USDC
  memo?: string;
}
```

Returns the `SendResult` JSON-stringified, so the LLM can read it back.

### `get_wallet_info`

No input. Returns label, pubkey, and current policy.

### `list_recent_transactions`

No input. Returns the last 100 transactions across the account.

## Wiring with `createToolCallingAgent`

See [Guides → LangChain](/black-sheep-finance-docs/guides/langchain.md) for a full example.

## Adapter notes

* The returned objects implement the minimal `{ name, description, schema, invoke }` interface and are compatible with `AgentExecutor` and `createToolCallingAgent`.
* Schemas use Zod — same Zod version LangChain uses.
* Tools are **stateless** — safe to share across requests.

## Adding your own tools

You can mix Black Sheep tools with your own:

```ts
const tools = [
  ...blackSheepTools({ apiKey, agentId }),
  myCustomLookupTool,
];
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://black-sheep-finance.gitbook.io/black-sheep-finance-docs/sdk/langchain.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
